Harmonic centrality · answer

How Does This Harmonic Centrality Calculator Work?

Enter a domain or URL. The calculator normalizes it to the registrable domain, finds the latest imported Common Crawl graph release, and retrieves that domain’s precomputed harmonic centrality score and rank from the local database.

Common Crawl builds the large graph and computes its published ranks. This site is the domain calculator and reference interface: it does not rebuild the web graph each time someone submits a name. That is why a result can return quickly after a graph release has been imported.

The page shows the release and crawl period so the lookup has context. A domain that is absent from the graph returns a missing result, not a made-up zero. Read what the Common Crawl graph contains and why a domain may be missing, or try the calculator.

This answer describes the metric used by the HarmonicCentrality.org calculator. Common Crawl’s graph releases and methods can change; check the release shown with each score.

Apply this idea to a domain in the calculator.
