What Do Harmonic Centrality Score and Rank Mean?
The score is the raw sum of reciprocal shortest-path distances. It is not a 0–100 grade. The rank is the domain’s position when nodes in a particular graph release are ordered by their harmonic centrality; rank 1 is the highest.
Scores depend on which nodes and links appear in the graph. A score from one release should not be treated as directly comparable to a score from a different release without considering changes in graph coverage. Check the crawl release shown with each result.
A high harmonic centrality score means a node can reach many other nodes by short directed paths. It does not, by itself, say that those other nodes are important or relevant. For context, compare it with PageRank and read whether it is a Google ranking factor.
This answer describes the metric used by the HarmonicCentrality.org calculator. Common Crawl’s graph releases and methods can change; check the release shown with each score.
